The Murphysboro Clarke’s are the only Vintage Baseball team south of I-64.
Their game is played by the rules of baseball that were in place in 1860, and the Cranks (fans) and Ballasts (players) gather regularly at Longfellow Park to play. “We are all gentlemen here, this is a group of great men, and we take pride in playing a friendly and family oriented sport,” said Russ “Redleggs” Wright, the General Manager for the Murphysboro Clarkes.
